Zusammenfassung

Auf die Frage, wem gegenüber sich der prominente und rechtskräftig verurteilte Steuerhinterzieher Uli Hoeneß schuldig gemacht hat, antwortet der Moralphilosoph Julius Schälike in einem Interview mit der „Zeit“ vom 15. März 2014: „Hoeneß hat seinen fairen Teil an der Finanzierung des Gemeinwesens nicht zahlen wollen. Damit erlangte er einen unfairen Vorteil gegenüber denen, die ihre Steuern korrekt gezahlt haben.“ Steuerunehrliches Verhalten schädigt also doppelt: Der Allgemeinheit werden Mittel zur Bereitstellung von öffentlichen Gütern vorenthalten, den Ehrlichen erwachsen (Einkommens-)Nachteile, weil sie ihrer Abgabenpflicht pflichtbewusst nachkommen.
